Sustainability is an easy word to say and a hard one to prove. So we will keep this simple. You will not find badges or percentages on this page. What you will find is how we think about the furniture we sell, the way it is made, and the long life it is meant to have in your home.

The most responsible piece of furniture is the one you never need to replace. Everything we select is chosen to be lived with: sat on every evening, slept in every night, carried with you from one home to the next.
That is why we would rather offer you fewer, better pieces than a catalog of things designed to be swapped out with the season. Timeless design ages well. So does honest construction.
Craftsmanship
Made in Italy, made properly
Our sofas, beds and armchairs are made in Italy by people who take the long view. Frames are built to hold their shape and cushions to keep their comfort. Upholstery is chosen for how it wears, not only for how it looks on the first day.
Fine materials cost more at the outset. They also mean a piece that still looks and feels right long after a cheaper alternative has been sent to the curb.
Designed for a longer life
Covers you can remove and refresh
Many of the upholstered designs we carry are made with removable covers. It is a small detail that changes how a sofa lives with you.
Spill something, and the cover comes off to be cleaned. Redecorate, and the same sofa can take on a new fabric rather than a trip to the landfill. A piece that can be refreshed is a piece that stays.

Delivery
White glove, packaging removed
Every order includes complimentary white glove delivery. Our team brings your furniture into your home, sets it up, places it where you want it, and takes the packaging away.
Delivering well is about more than care. It means pieces that arrive as they should, and no cardboard or foam left for you to deal with. Our team will confirm the details of delivery to your area when you place your order.

A promise to keep improving
We are a showroom and a store, not a factory, and we are honest about the limits of what we control. What we can do is keep choosing pieces made to last, keep asking better questions of the people who make them, and keep looking for ways to do better in how we pack, deliver and care for what we sell.
As new categories arrive, including dining, outdoor, decor, lighting and rugs, the same standard will apply. When we have real progress to share, we will share it here, plainly and without dressing it up.

Do you hold sustainability certifications?
We do not make certified claims on this page, and we would rather not imply what we cannot show you. If a particular certification matters to your project, ask our team and we will tell you exactly what we know about the piece you are considering.
How does furniture built to last make a difference?
Fewer replacements over the life of a home mean fewer pieces produced, shipped and thrown away. Choosing well once is the simplest form of responsibility we know.
Do all of your sofas have removable covers?
Many of our upholstered designs do, but not every one. Our team will confirm the details for the piece you have in mind, along with any fabric options available.
What happens to the packaging after delivery?
Our white glove team removes it once your delivery and setup are complete, so your room is ready to enjoy and nothing is left behind for you to dispose of.
