The Malamata range of lamps features the ability to change the position of its diffuser — a blown-glass sphere — thanks to a spherical counterweight, applied here to a floor-standing structure. Pushing the button above the sphere releases a spring device, letting the counterweight slide along the arm to move the diffuser up and down.
