The Malamata range of lamps features the ability to change the position of its diffuser — a blown-glass sphere available in two sizes — thanks to a spherical counterweight. By pushing the button above the sphere, a spring device releases the counterweight, letting it slide along the arm and move the diffuser up and down for a variety of orthogonal or slanted arrangements.
